MySQL Case Sensitive in Windows 7
I will now show you how to change the MySQL 5.6 under windows to run with case sensitive.
I have read many guides, that tell’s you to change the my.ini file, placed in C:Program FilesMySQLMySQL Server 5.6
But thats not the right location for the my.ini file.
You need to change the my.ini file under C:ProgramDataMySQLMySQL Server 5.6 The ProgramData folder is a hidden System folder.
Open the my.ini file in a notepad, (run as administrator) to change the file.
Then add the lower_case_table_names=2 to the bottom of the file.
And at last, restart the mysql server.
